Tough Guys Take Over is an indie/alternative punk band out of Philadelphia, with songs that rock and others that may have your girlfriend swooning. They've written, recorded, and produced their debut EP Shyaway, without label support. They've raised awareness for local causes, benefitting personal tragedies and environmental responsibility. There is no sign of any slowdown.

The brothers Colyer, self taught and raised in a musical household, spent a lifetime honing their sound together. In 2006, they teamed up with Rock Arcuicci, a traditionally trained guitarist with a penchant towards heavier rock. Dave Spencer pounds out the 4 string love since 2008.

Tough Guys Take Over is a presumptuous name, with implied bold intentions, but this band just wants you to share a beer and sing their songs.
