The band was started in early 2010 as a side project by Niklas Hasselblad and David Fernandez. The band evolved fast during the spring of 2010 and became one of Sormlands most popular bands, with a groundbreaking live performance and a significant style, The band is growing fast! and are now one of the most exiting upcoming bands!

Black Collar Radio started in 2008 as an emerging, web-based underground radio broadcast, solely focused on the Philadelphia Tri-State region.

As of February 2011, BCR is expanding to include a wider range of cities and locations, in an effort to spread beyond this single geographic area.
