EST. in 2006...and since then Blackmass Mafia has been blazin' down a path that very few travel. Blackmass Mafia could be described in different ways, Southern Metal, Southern Rock, Sludge, but the truest to thier heart is the genre they named themselves "REEFAGE", which is the best way to describe the aura and music that they create.

At the forefront of Blackmass Mafia is "The Blackmass Godfather" himself Mikke Nugent a.k.a. "The Nuge", Mikke in 2006 created Blackmass Mafia and since has been thier chief songwriter, vocalist, and lead guitarist. Always with a Les Paul or Marshall layin' around, Mikke is always throwin' down some sort of buzzsawin' riffs or a shreddin' solo. 2008 brought Barry Lawhorne II (replacin' long time bassist Jesse Stakes), and his thunderous low end. Barry brings with him an uncontrollable will to play and write the truest music that he can, and that has landed him in the world of Blackmass Mafia.

Blackmass Mafia's debut album "War Machine Vol.1" will be available at the end of 2009. Demos from the album are available now through their myspace page.
