Since 2007, Flesh Engine has started to become a semi-well known name in the metal underground amongst the tri-state and surrounding areas. With the release of their 2007 demo entitled "'07 Demo-Lition". Flesh Engine started taking off the way the band intended it to. Getting airplay on 94.1 WYSP Loud and Local hosted by Tommy Conwell, numerous reviews, and interviews were just the start.

But in 2008, after changing the two rhythm guitarists, the remaining four-piece: Dustin Hamel, Dave and Paul Orkin embarked on a journey into "Essence Of Hell", a new EP. This long awaited new release of fresh material, recorded once again at Satan's Palace Recording Studios promised to give an idea of what Flesh Engine is trying to accomplish.

In April 2010, Flesh Engine brought drummer Tommy Stowe into the band to fill the musical gap that was missing from the band.

Pure relentless brutality with a punch in the face of old school thrash metal, melodic doom riff-age, double-bass, thunderous low-end and raw vocal screams of melody. Flesh Engine plans to take no prisoners and force the underground industry to open their eyes to the sounds of the engine.

Black Collar Radio started in 2008 as an emerging, web-based underground radio broadcast, solely focused on the Philadelphia Tri-State region.

As of February 2011, BCR is expanding to include a wider range of cities and locations, in an effort to spread beyond this single geographic area.
