Syberia was formed in the spring of 2009 and hails from Upper Darby,PA and Wilmington,DE. The band is a three peice heavy collaboration of metal from the influences of Crowbar and Type-O Negative.

The band is fronted by Ex-Spellbound/Shadowcide guitarist Mike Campanile, who pulls double duty as the band's lead guitarist and lead vocalist. The band also features another ex-Shadowcide member Johnny P. He is the bands's drummer and is making his vocal debut as well , handling the background growls and blood curdling screams. Hailing from Wilmington, DE and new to the mix is Derrick Quillen, who is pulling the duty of handling the four strings. Derrick has been jamming for years in numerous bands and is the perfect fit for Syberia's look and sound.

The band is always writing new lyrics and coming up with new ideas for songs. They are always looking for new places to play live, and the band puts it on the line with every single show they play . Every show is an "in your face" metal onslaught with ear bleeding guitars, thunderous, chest pounding bass, and powerful, brutal drum beats. The next things on Syberia's agenda is to get enough material written and head back into the studio to record a full length record.
