Silas is a 4 piece original rock/metal band. Though they only formed as a band in the middle of 2009, they have already shared the stage with national acts such as Cold, Taproot, Saving Abel, Pop Evil and Stemm.

Silas is Benjamin Youtz (Vocals), Branden Kreider (Guitar), James Hanley (Bass), and Jay Withers (Drums). They all played in several different bands in the Reading area before coming together as Silas.

Every member of the band has one distinct purpose: to create and perform meaningful music, with an unyielding will to succeed. The result is creativity, emotion, and dedication, and it truly stands out in their songs and on stage.
