Avoiding the Angel was born in August of 2009 after Rob, Chuck, and Ryan left another band for a new future. With the addition of Anthony, AtA has broken on to the scene with an instantly recognizable sound. Without having a primary songwriter or decision maker, they are able to blend the styles of their different backgrounds and influnces into music that mixes brutal riffs, intricate beats, and soaring melodies.
