"Cry of Zion" represents a call to repentance, because there is a great and terrible day on the horizon when all living things will return to dust; and everyone will be judged according to their faith. Cry of Zion's only goal is to reach as many people as possible with the message of repentance; so all people will come to know the love of Jesus Christ.

Cry of Zion invaded New Jersey in 2003 and fell apart in 2005. But today, with many new faces, Cry of Zion is making a come back. Drawing on different musical backgrounds it's new members have come together to create a unique and heavy sound. With a powerful live show, heavy riffs, and in your face vocals crowds are confronted with a burning passion that pours out from the band's love for God.

We are called Cry of Zion because many Christians today are guilty of playing church. They acknowledge Jesus with their lips and deny him with their actions. This is a tragedy because both believer and non believer are disgusted by phoniness. All people are in a war with their sinful nature. If we embrace that nature we will die for eternity. If we don’t stay vigilant we will be overrun by apathy. But there is a love that has overcome death; the love of Jesus Christ. People live their lives forsaking love and rejecting God, who deserves more than their own life.
