Jeff Goho of Minutia called in to Black Collar Radio Live on Sunday 1/1/12 to talk about the Bon Jovi Death hoax/prank he started in mid December 2011. Goho describes how a legion of Bon Jovi fans (mostly housewives/hens/sheep) have swarmed the band with death threats and personal attacks. Especially a creepy ass fuck named Sean Hollywood here on youtube. Also told us about some French dude and unnamed celebrities from the I Hate Bon Jovi fan club (not a real club in case you are dumb and didnt get that) that is supporting the band and helped to produce a song as a response to all of the angry sheep. BCR Live 2-19-12 Run-in with a bobby boy henchman at Warehouse 24-Bri and Harry of Occupy Philly in studio-Did you know that Whitney Houston died Pirate and Ray were out with Harry Fleckenstein to film a live set for Delco band Givethemrope and ran into a "personality" from our shitty competitor bobby boy's show. We cover Whitney Houston a week late as we always do, then Harry came down to the show and brought his friend Bri, who was heavily involved in Occupy Philly and is now involved with something called Occupy Vacant Lots. She is a nice, cute girl, and pirate feels bad for calling her a cackling hen many times on previous shows. She talks about many postives to come out of Occupy Philly, and we ask her about all the negative stuff that seemed to hold them back during the protest. BCR Live 2-4-12 - Drunken Chaos show for Super Bowl weekend Big week for BCR as we picked up several more radio streams to broadcast with, we picked up a new sound board for the show, and it's Super Bowl weekend so we were live on Saturday. To celebrate the whole crew except pirate kills a few cases and a bottle of 100 proof rum. Our buddy Tuttle stops by and kills at least half of that bottle, and we disintegrate into a lot of distorted yelling, screaming, and an ugly fight between pirate and Kurt. BCR Live 11-20-11 - The Show Must Go On - Saturday 11-19-11 was the first BCR Rock event and we were dealt a bunch of shit last minute by our previously reliable sound man. We discuss what a douche he turned out to be, and how things turned out. Kurt attacks pirate over hating life and gets blasted, and Ray decides to take a stand and ban us from playing his theme song Sat Fat Dude during the show. BCR Live 11-13-11 -Penn State rape talk-Kurt gets corrected-Ghosts In The Valley in studio- In this show you get our opinions on the shit happening at Penn State, PJ gets another segment to critique the show and spends it focused on Kurt, while Kurt does not take well to the criticism. Scotty and Sam of Ghosts In The Valley stop by and talk about working with Steve Albini to record their upcoming album. BCR Live 11-6-11 - new BCR Talk Only Channel now open-Sicktrust in studio-Occupiers get raped-Bieber hits skins and has flow yo- We just opened the new Talk Only channel at BCR and got it listed onto iTunes Radio under the Talk Radio genre (switched to Comedy genre 11/14/11), so we checked in on some of our competion in the directory and finished off our talk on Eyes Sewn Shut. Chaly and Zeus of Sicktrust stop by to talk about their debut self titled album and the release show, we find out the story of Zeus' name is not as cool as we had hoped, and we learn that there is a venue that won't have them on stage because their vocals will scare people. Black Collar Radio Live 9-25-2011-Comedy Writer/Author Martin Olson calls in and tells how Metallica loved his book : Encyclopaedia Of Hell: An Invasion Manual for Demons Concerning the Planet Earth and the Human Race Which Infests It, and how they got him fucked up in Vegas and left him with a sweet ass parting gift, which Martin later that night passed off to Rodney Dangerfield. The book is written as Satan commanding and educating his armies on the most disgusting and vile truths about humanity as they prepare to take over Earth. Joining Martin on the line is Comedian Kevin Meaney, who was good enough to listen to and not trash a live Killa Kurt comedy routine, told us he was a devout gay catholic, and he saw some Satan in our show as well. Great time with these guys on the line. We also learned after that PJ has an enormous thunder stick and hurts women when he uses it, closed out with Fuck The Government and set it up for Kurt to host the show next week instead of pirate. Sunday 7/17/11 Jerry Ryan of Elephant Talk Indie Music Magazine called in to talk about Elephant Talk 2011, taking place in Atlantic City NJ Friday August 5th to Sunday August 7th, at Le Grand Fromage and The Boneyard. We end with music from Twenty30, Juggernaut Drunk, and The Deafening Colors, all playing at the festival this year. We caught him in the middle of whackin it to women's soccer, and pirate is sick so his stuffed nose and sniffling sound awesome and exudes our professionalism, but other than that was a good call with a good friend of the station. BCR Live 6-12-11 featured calls from Boss 302 (South Jersey) and People Who Hate People Radio (Manassas, VA),opened with the crew catching up on the last couple of weeks off, playing audio from our remote at Martyr Rock Rising, new theme music for the crew, and we have a malt liquor party to celebrate our the announcement of our victory over outhouse and bobby boy. Kurt overindulges and becomes a drunk mess in time for Larry of Boss 302 to come on the line. He spoke about a possible chance to have music from Boss 302 on a Sci-Fi movie soundtrack, as well as a couple of other thoughts he had to promote his band's music in some different ways. Conversation turned ugly when the discussion turns to his label, Toil Records. In minutes Larry gave us a great sound bite for future intro music and Chris of Toil was on the line. Tune in and hear what happened. Next, Tyler and Eric of People Who Hate People Radio called in and discussed everything that just went down, then Larry called back and almost called it cool with us before going off again and mutherfuckin us some more. We continued to talk about internet radio and what it is really like, and Kurt became a whiny baby over his mic getting muted. We closed with Steve of 4 Years Past and the debut of their latest track "Anthem".

We covered JTs Philly House show, and then spoke with One-Eyed Doll's accomplished frontwoman/guitarist Kimberly Freeman about being hunted by Asian communists, knocking out a guy in Dallas for heckling her, OED's upcoming tour with OTEP and much more, we also talked with Todd and Lotus of Liquid Me about their 5 track debut EP (due out 6/4/11) and played some new music from it, ,had a discussion about Kurt being Ken Crowell's son and got Ken on the line to confirm it, pirate and Kurt continued to battle over everything and we finally closed with an exclusive airing of "Road Rage", from Travia's new album (due out 6/10/11).
BCR Live 5-1-11 featured call-ins from Dennis of Martyr Clothing and Brian of Cadaveric Spasm , we covered the JTs Show with Prosper or Perish, From The Ashes, and Pillars Of Villiany taking place on Saturday May 14th, played some great Ray song parodies, BCR vs. Bobby Boy rd 3 clips (we are up 3-0 for the record), played clips from new bands to BCR, and closed with another Kurt fuck up as we found out he released a generic, terrible, shitty press quote for a band without telling anybody about it.
BCR Live 4-10-11 featured call-ins from a rapper named Hazz from Philadelphia, and also from Molehill of Chicago, who is playing at Dobbs in Philly on Saturday May 7th. Kurt tried quit the show, so we spent some time figuring out why and telling him how wrong he was, and we also played some clips from the newest bands now playing on Black Collar Radio.

We covered our show crashing last week, the war declared on BCR by lil bobby boy, a new track from The Changing Times, our new partnership with Eric and the crew at Ultimate Local Music.com, the badass music and the success of Back From Ashes (Phoenix, AZ) with their frontman Jason, and closed with a free for all with more sound clips that eventually lead back to bobby boy to end the show.
BCR Live from Sunday 3/20 was a crazy show, starting off with pirate spilling an entire large glass of captain and coke on the sound mixer. And we left it in the recording so you can hear how fucked up it was. We were down for about 30 minutes or so, and came back on air using a rigged up ass setup. But it worked and it sounded ok, phone lines and all, so we quickly regrouped and recovered in time to have a verbal battle with an irate and very bipolar new friend of BCR, followed by an accomplished and experienced musician in Jimmy Allen of Against All Will, and then debuted a brand new release from badass Baltimore band rebel inc. Black Collar Radio started in 2008 as an emerging, web-based underground radio broadcast, solely focused on the Philadelphia Tri-State region.
As of February 2011, BCR is expanding to include a wider range of cities and locations, in an effort to spread beyond this single geographic area.
