Comedy Writer/Author Martin Olson calls in to BCR Live and tells how Metallica loved his book : Encyclopaedia Of Hell: An Invasion Manual for Demons Concerning the Planet Earth and the Human Race Which Infests It, how they got him fucked up in Vegas, leaving Martin with a sweet ass parting gift, later "regifted" to Rodney Dangerfield. The book is written as Satan commanding and educating his armies on the most disgusting and vile truths about humanity as they prepare to take over Earth. BCR Live 4-28-12-Art hosts the 1st hour and we meet FM radio guys Tucker and Hoyt-Chicks call in to talk to Ray-Khris of Thrash band Mabel calls in-Bobby boys feelings are hurt boo hoo The crew started the show up without Pirate for the first time and Artie and Killa Kurt debuted their White Collar Radio alter ego's "Tucker and Hoyt's Wacky Wacky Wild Morning Show". After one quick technical difficulty (it had to happen once), the crew moved on to the story of the NJ father who sent his Autistic son to school with a wire to record his abusive teacher. Pirate showed up around 7 and took a call from Khris Teague of Mabel (Winfield KS). Khris is a real man and a redneck, and we talked about killing and eating shit, noodling catfish, stompin mudholes into shit talkers, and the winners hanging out at the Wal Mart in Kansas. From there, the crew played some great tape from lil' Bobby Boys show last week, complete with crying over some well timed and perfectly placed tweets by yours truly. Sunday 7/17/11 Jerry Ryan of Elephant Talk Indie Music Magazine called in to talk about Elephant Talk 2011, taking place in Atlantic City NJ Friday August 5th to Sunday August 7th, at Le Grand Fromage and The Boneyard. We end with music from Twenty30, Juggernaut Drunk, and The Deafening Colors, all playing at the festival this year. We caught him in the middle of whackin it to women's soccer, and pirate is sick so his stuffed nose and sniffling sound awesome and exudes our professionalism, but other than that was a good call with a good friend of the station. BCR Live 6-12-11 featured calls from Boss 302 (South Jersey) and People Who Hate People Radio (Manassas, VA),opened with the crew catching up on the last couple of weeks off, playing audio from our remote at Martyr Rock Rising, new theme music for the crew, and we have a malt liquor party to celebrate our the announcement of our victory over outhouse and bobby boy. Kurt overindulges and becomes a drunk mess in time for Larry of Boss 302 to come on the line. He spoke about a possible chance to have music from Boss 302 on a Sci-Fi movie soundtrack, as well as a couple of other thoughts he had to promote his band's music in some different ways. Conversation turned ugly when the discussion turns to his label, Toil Records. In minutes Larry gave us a great sound bite for future intro music and Chris of Toil was on the line. Tune in and hear what happened. Next, Tyler and Eric of People Who Hate People Radio called in and discussed everything that just went down, then Larry called back and almost called it cool with us before going off again and mutherfuckin us some more. We continued to talk about internet radio and what it is really like, and Kurt became a whiny baby over his mic getting muted. We closed with Steve of 4 Years Past and the debut of their latest track "Anthem".
BCR Live 5-15-11 featured calls and music from One-Eyed Doll (Austin, TX) and Liquid Me (NY). We covered JTs Philly House show, and then spoke with One-Eyed Doll's accomplished frontwoman/guitarist Kimberly Freeman about being hunted by Asian communists, knocking out a guy in Dallas for heckling her, OED's upcoming tour with OTEP and much more, we also talked with Todd and Lotus of Liquid Me about their 5 track debut EP (due out 6/4/11) and played some new music from it, ,had a discussion about Kurt being Ken Crowell's son and got Ken on the line to confirm it, pirate and Kurt continued to battle over everything and we finally closed with an exclusive airing of "Road Rage", from Travia's new album (due out 6/10/11).
BCR Live 5-1-11 featured call-ins from Dennis of Martyr Clothing and Brian of Cadaveric Spasm , we covered the JTs Show with Prosper or Perish, From The Ashes, and Pillars Of Villiany taking place on Saturday May 14th, played some great Ray song parodies, BCR vs. Bobby Boy rd 3 clips (we are up 3-0 for the record), played clips from new bands to BCR, and closed with another Kurt fuck up as we found out he released a generic, terrible, shitty press quote for a band without telling anybody about it.
BCR Live 4-10-11 featured call-ins from a rapper named Hazz from Philadelphia, and also from Molehill of Chicago, who is playing at Dobbs in Philly on Saturday May 7th. Kurt tried quit the show, so we spent some time figuring out why and telling him how wrong he was, and we also played some clips from the newest bands now playing on Black Collar Radio.

BCR Live 3-27-11 featured call-ins from Jason of Back From Ashes and Eric Of Ultimate Local Music.com. We covered our show crashing last week, the war declared on BCR by lil bobby boy, a new track from The Changing Times, our new partnership with Eric and the crew at Ultimate Local Music.com, the badass music and the success of Back From Ashes (Phoenix, AZ) with their frontman Jason, and closed with a free for all with more sound clips that eventually lead back to bobby boy to end the show.
BCR Live from Sunday 3/20 was a crazy show, starting off with pirate spilling an entire large glass of captain and coke on the sound mixer. And we left it in the recording so you can hear how fucked up it was. We were down for about 30 minutes or so, and came back on air using a rigged up ass setup. But it worked and it sounded ok, phone lines and all, so we quickly regrouped and recovered in time to have a verbal battle with an irate and very bipolar new friend of BCR, followed by an accomplished and experienced musician in Jimmy Allen of Against All Will, and then debuted a brand new release from badass Baltimore band rebel inc. Black Collar Radio started in 2008 as an emerging, web-based underground radio broadcast, solely focused on the Philadelphia Tri-State region.
As of February 2011, BCR is expanding to include a wider range of cities and locations, in an effort to spread beyond this single geographic area.
