As of August 1st 2011, we will be adding all new submissions to the station on a monthly basis. We would also like to request that all submission packages be complete with tracks (and please don't forget to tell us the NAME of the track!), submission form, and preferred band picture. Incomplete packages take longer to process and go to the back of the list. Thanks in advance.

As of March 30th 2011, Black Collar Radio has entered into a new partnership with Ultimate Local Music of San Diego, CA. ULM focuses on all genres of underground rock and metal, particularly from the West Coast and South/Southwest. From this date forward, submissions to Black Collar Radio will be forwarded to Ultimate Local Music for airplay on their station, and all new submissions to ULM will be sent to us here at BCR. We believe this will help to get more listeners for all of the contributors to both sites and we look forward to seeing some positive results from this new partnership. Ultimate Local Music will also be simulcasting our live radio show on their station whenever we are on the air, and we look forward to working with them moving forward.

The first step of submitting music is completing the BCR submission form below - copy and paste it to an email, fill in the blanks, and email it to us at : staff@bcrphilly.com. We will use this info to create a profile for your BCR artist page.

The next step is to get us your music and band picture.

1.ELECTRONIC/EMAIL/DOWNLOAD-You can email 20 mb worth of files to us in a single email, to staff@bcrphilly.com. Multiple emails may be required,-MP3s are what we need. We need the MP3s to be 128 kbps, 44.1 KHZ. We can and will adjust these if you cannot.

2.OLD FASHIONED MAIL- On request , we will give you an address to email a physical copy of your CD.

3.AT YOUR SHOW- We get out to a lot of shows, so we can easily set you up with a few tracks through a single email, and when we come to the show, grab the CD.

We will always notify you upon receipt of files/tracks.

Once we confirm receipt of your package, we will build a profile with the information you provide in the form below, complete with links to your CDs, merchandise sites, website, or social networking site. All other music will be put in random rotation through the 24/7 stream on the BCR homepage. Tracks will also be featured in live on-air broadcasts, and featured in our downloadable podcasts. We will also sometimes edit and alter portions of your music for recorded Black Collar Radio promotions and announcements in our efforts to promote the site and it's contributors.

By sending us your profile and music, you agree to the terms and conditions available below. ( We try not to kill you with fine print, but it basically says that you own your music and that you have the authority to consent to let us play it. It also says we will not use your music or personal info in any way except as related to the BCR programming mentioned above.
