Black Collar Radio is a locally produced, independent internet radio station operating out of Philadelphia, PA. Our immediate focus is to stream, broadcast, and promote musicians without major recording contracts whom originate in the Philadelphia Metro-Region, to include New Jersey and Delaware.

Our goal is to create THE web-based radio station for Philly local music, all the time. A place where bands can network with other bands, fans can find new music, and new fans can be exposed to the entire scene all at one place. Internet radio is evolving daily, and one day will be easily accessible in all types of new locations, such as in vehicles, and through mobile web devices. BCR plans on being there from day one.

The first step of submitting music is completing the BCR submission form below - copy and paste it to an email, fill in the blanks, and email it to us at : staff@bcrphilly.com. We will use this info to create a profile for your BCR artist page.

The next step is to get us your music. We are very flexible and can accomodate anybody who is interested in becoming a contributor, so don't hesitate to contact us with any questions. A phone number for us can easily be provided on request.

1.ELECTRONIC/EMAIL/DOWNLOAD-You can email 20 mb worth of files to us in a single email, to staff@bcrphilly.com. Multiple emails may be required,-MP3s are what we need. We prefer 192 kbps, 44.1 KHZ. We can and will adjust these if you cannot.

2.OLD FASHIONED MAIL- On request , we will give you an address to email a physical copy of your CD.

3.AT YOUR SHOW- We get out to a lot of shows, so we can easily set you up with a few tracks through a single email, and when we come to the show, grab the CD.

We will always notify you upon receipt of files/tracks.

Once we confirm receipt of your package, we will build a profile with the information you provide in the form below, complete with links to your CDs, merchandise sites, website, or social networking site. All other music will be put in random rotation through the 24/7 stream on the BCR homepage. Tracks will also be featured in recorded broadcasts, and available through our podcasts, which focus on events and shows from our contributors. We will also sometimes edit and alter portions of your music for recorded Black Collar Radio promotions and announcements in our efforts to promote the site and it's contributors.

By sending us your profile and music, you agree to the terms and conditions available below. ( We try not to kill you with fine print, but it basically says that you own your music and that you have the authority to consent to let us play it. It also says we will not use your music or personal info in any way except as related to the BCR programming mentioned above.
